How to open a contract in Pakto
The contract arrives as a PDF file. To read and sign it, open that file in the Pakto app using the “Share” button.
Three steps
Get the PDF file
It arrives in a chat or by email — e.g. “Contract.pdf”. Tap it to open.
Tap “Share”
Use the Share button (a box with an up-arrow) or the “⋮” menu.
Choose Pakto → sign
Pick Pakto from the list. It shows all the data and photo-evidence, then asks you to sign with Face ID / fingerprint.
How to open a PDF on your phone
Not sure where the file is or how to open it? Here's the official way for each system.
iPhone (iOS)
- 1Open the file: in the “Files” or “Preview” app tap Browse and tap the PDF — or tap the attachment right in Mail / the messenger.
- 2Tap the Share icon (a square with an up-arrow, usually at the bottom-left).
- 3Choose Pakto in the list, then confirm with Face ID / Touch ID.
Android
- 1Open the file: in “Files by Google” (or your file manager) find the PDF under Recents / Browse and tap it.
- 2Tap Share in the toolbar of the open PDF.
- 3Choose Pakto in the list, then confirm with your fingerprint.
Where did the file come from?
Find your app below — it shows where the Share button is.
Telegram
Open the file, then tap the “⋮” menu (Android) or the Share arrow at the top (iPhone) → Pakto.
Viber
Tap the file → “⋮” → “Share” / “Forward to another app” → Pakto.
Open the document → Share icon (iPhone) or “⋮ → Share” (Android) → Pakto.
Files (iPhone)
Find the PDF, open it or press and hold → “Share” → Pakto.
Files (Android)
Open the PDF → “Share” or “Open with” → Pakto.
Don't see Pakto in the list?
Install Pakto first from the App Store or Google Play — then it appears in the “Share” menu.
