About the team

We built the tool we wanted for ourselves

Pakto emerged from a real pain point: signing a simple contract meant either risking going without documents or spending a day at the notary. We decided it shouldn't be this way.

Where we came from

The year is 2022. Millions of people are relocating, making new arrangements, and renting housing in unfamiliar cities. Paper contracts became not just inconvenient—they became impossible.

We created Pakto with our sights set on two markets simultaneously: domestic and European. With a background in mathematics and currently pursuing a master's in finance and banking, the foundation of Pakto is built on two simple things: the mathematical precision of algorithms and a clear understanding of how reliable financial agreements should work.

The technology for secure digital signatures has actually been sitting in every modern smartphone for a long time. It was just buried deep in the system. We decided to change that. We took strict European security standards and turned them into a simple app anyone can use.

Our values

🔐

Trust through code

We don't ask you to take our word for it. Every claim we make about security is backed by open cryptographic standards that can be independently verified.

🚫

Zero storage

Pakto does not store your documents on our servers. Contracts exist only on the signers' devices. We literally have no access to your content.

Simplicity as a requirement

A legally valid signature shouldn't require a law degree. We believe that a complex tool is a design failure, not a sign of seriousness.

🌐

Open standards

We build on universally recognized standards: eIDAS, PAdES-T, RFC 3161, ECDSA P-256. No proprietary protocols, no black boxes.
